Most importantly, we run our own highly successful staffing service, which employs students as event servers and bar backs and graduates as event bartenders. In addition, our staffing service is used by hundreds of businesses who are looking for well educated bartenders when staffing their bars and restaurants. We are the ONLY school in Southern California that guarantees our graduates bartending employment, hence many of our graduates are hired out to part time and full time positions each week! Create Your Own Schedule!

We designed our curriculum knowing that our students are adults, which means we know that you have responsibilities outside of school. Our students are looking for a new and rewarding career, so we pride ourselves with having developed a system of classes that accommodates a wide variety of our student’s needs.

We offer classes on a rotating schedule, six days per week, up to three times per day. We do not assign set schedules, so you decide when you attend classes. Your plan for success is 100% up to you. Our unique class schedule allows for students to graduate in as little as two weeks while attending full time. Students can also decide to attend part time- when doing this, you have up to a year in which to complete your schooling. Completing the 40 hour curriculum within one year of registration is very easy!

We hold our classes in our classroom/lab, which is set up like a real working bar! We have written a  streamlined NBS textbook for this course, which is included in our enrollment costs. Each class is two hours long, which includes a lecture and a practical portion, and covers one chapter. In between classes, students are encouraged to log practical hours, hence honing their bartending skills. These hours count towards your required class time, so they are invaluable.

Students are required to take two exams once their classes are complete; one written and one practical. Once you have passed these tests, you will receive your bartending license!
