One of the best parts of NBS is our work placement program, also known as National Bar Staffing! National Bartending School’s work placement program is the ONLY program in Southern California that GUARANTEES students employment upon graduation. It is so easy to earn the cost of tuition back quickly, by working just a few events!
We encourage current students to apply for employment as event servers and bar backs. This is a great way to include hospitality services on your resume, and also to earn back your tuition quickly! It will get you used to working in the beverage industry, so that once you have completed your licensing and become a bartender, you are ready. As a bartender and graduate of NBS, you can then apply as an event bartender, as well as apply for the many full time and part time jobs listed each week through our company. Hundreds of local businesses come to us because they know that our school produces the best in the business! When you graduate, the jobs will be waiting!
Your Schedule is Up To You!
Here at NBS, there are NO set schedules. We literally have classes available several times per day, up to seven days per week. You are free to attend the classes that work with your life, and skip the ones that don’t! You do not have to sign up for the individual classes prior to attending, either. If you have a couple of hours to spare, drop in and take a class. If a class isn’t in session, feel free to come in anyways and log a few hours of practice time into our mock bar- those count as class hours towards your mandatory 40 hours for your license! With our class availability, you can obtain your licensing in as little as two weeks!
