What is NBS?
National Bartending is a hands on bartending training program, designed to emphasize bartending experience and streamline drink knowledge to expedite learning! Our specialized curriculum caters to adult students and focuses on training, memory, and practical know-how, to guarantee success in the fast paced world of bartending. We include our streamlined and easy-to-follow training manual in the registration prices, so there are no hidden costs!

Schedules Are Convenient and Easy!
We designed National Bartending School with the adult student in mind. Forget about the reasons why you think you can’t manage to attend classes- you can! National Bartending School offers several classes every day, so you can attend whenever is convenient for you! Graduating is not only attainable, it is convenient and easy!
We hold classes two to three times per day, six days per week! In between classes, we encourage students to log in hours in our practice bar, which count towards your 40 hour requisite goal. The classes each cover one module of the curriculum, and they are offered on a rotating schedule. There are no assigned or permanent schedules with NBS. You decide which days and times you can attend, on a daily basis. Our classes rotate every week, so it is easy to accumulate all of the hours and chapters that are needed for course completions. With National Bartending School, you can get your certification in as little as two weeks at most campuses, if you decide to attend full time. If you choose to attend part time, you are allowed to take up to a year for certification. It’s all up to you and your availability and dedication!

Many of our instructors are graduates of National Bartending School itself, and all of them have an extensive history in the beverage industry! Our staff is knowledgeable in the constantly changing field of mixology, and keeps the students on the cutting edge. We encourage students to seek out our instructors for any help that they need with their courses. Teachers are happy to assist with bartending skills, practice tests, and general knowledge.

Graduates can fill those roles as well, but they are eligible for employment as bartenders, either at events or at dining establishments in full and part time positions! Bartenders generally make a lot more money than servers or bar backs. We represent hundreds of businesses for their staffing needs, because they know that we provide only the best bartenders. NBS hires out many of our graduates every week to bars and restaurants in the Los Angeles area!
