Flexible and Convenient Classes!

Our Learn to Bartend course is very thorough and will teach you everything you need to know for a bartending job. Classes are offered up to three times a day, six days per week, providing a flexibility in scheduling that fits with a vast array of needs. The course consists of 40 class hours and a written and practical exam. Classes must be completed within one year of starting the course. The test contains a written and practical component. Students obtain certification in bartending through the United States of America after successful completion of both tests. With this certification, you are licensed to bartend in all 50 states.

Bartending school is made up of ten chapters. Each class is dedicated to one chapter. Each class is divided into one hour of lecture and one hour of practical instruction. In the lecture portion, the instructor explains and demonstrates the required knowledge found in the chapter, including drink mixing, pouring, and measuring. When the lecture is finished, students have an additional hour of practical time in the mock bar to practice what they have just learned.

The lab at the school consists of a mock bar that is one in a million! It is a real working bar, because we at National Bartending School know that students need to practice in the real thing in order to become great bartenders! It has sinks, mock alcohol, ice machines, etc. We offer classes 2-3 times every day except Sunday, to whoever shows up first. There is no hassle of prebooking. You choose when to attend class. Arrive on time and sign in and out to obtain your required hours. Your schedule is completely up to you and dependent on your needs. We understand that everyone’s life and needs are different, and we strive to make bartending school a unique experience that is best suited to your individual needs.

We staff students in many freelance jobs as servers and bar backs, and once you have graduated, we can employ you as an event bartender. Once you have completed school and earned your bartending certification, we will begin to staff you as an event bartender. Event bartenders usually make a higher hourly wage then the servers or bar backs, and a much better gratuity.
